Mamie Pettit, 40, of Minford died unexpectedly Sunday, May 6, 2018. Born on February 27, 1978 in Hillsboro, Ohio. She was the daughter of Fred and the late Cindy Brisker. Mamie was a graduate of Minford High School, Shawnee State University and University of Toledo.
Mamie resided in Boquete, Panama with her husband, Greg Pettit and their pet, Floyd. They own a hostel, La Jungla Experince, in Boquete, Panama. Mamie also worked for BidPal.

Including Mamie's husband, Greg, and her pet, Floyd, Mamie is survived by her father, Fred Brisker (Monica Brisker), her sister, Carrie Purcell (Matt Purcell), her brother, Trae Brisker, her nephew, JJ Purcell, niece, Ryan Purcell, her grandmother, Jane Brisker, step-sister, Katia Alvarez, step-brother, Christian Alvarez and a host of many loved ones.
Mamie was preceded in death by her mother, Cindy Brisker, her grandfather, Lee Maynard, her grandmother, Grace Maynard, and her grandfather, Hughferd Brisker.

Mamie was considered adventurous, fun loving and someone who enjoyed life to it's fullest. Her most recent adventure with her husband, Greg, included becoming the owner of a bed and breakfast in Boquete, Panama. This allowed them to travel, enjoy the outdoors and develop lifelong relationships with others. Mamie will always be remembered for her friendships and more importantly how she maintained and nurtured those relationships.

Mamie was the VERY proud Godmother to her nephew and niece, JJ and Ryan. Her love for kids will always be remembered.
Mamie's mom, Cindy, passed down the generous rescuing heart of animals to her daughters and Mamie upheld this trait with every stray she met.
