About the event
We are excited to announce our 1st annual Barks, Beer, & BBQ Beer Festival in Portsmouth Ohio!
We invite all pups and people to head on over to the Spock Memorial Dog Park on September 10th from 4-8pm. Your friends from Shawnee Animal Clinic & Sierra's Haven will be there to serve you a variety of craft beer on tap. After you grab your beer, you can browse the many food trucks and vendor booths set up down Front Street or you can enjoy live music at the main stage!
Sierra's Haven will have a booth set up with pets available for adoption and will also be holding a raffle as well as a pet talent contest for your furry friends!
Mark you'r calendars for September 10th. You don't want to miss this PAWSOME event!
**Please keep these three key points in mind**
1. All guests who wish to purchase alcohol will be required to wear a 21+ wrist band. This wrist band will be given to attendees who present a valid I.D. at the check in table located at the Spock Memorial Dog Park on the side by the Shawnee State University's Athletic Center Building. Attendees who do not present a valid I.D. will be denied an alcohol wrist band.
2. There will be clear boundries set during the event by ropes and barrells. No alcohol is permitted beyond said boundries. If you take alcohol beyond our designated event area, you will be subject to fines and possible jail time.
3. Please remember that this event is free for all ages. We want people and pups of all ages to enjoy their time at this event. With that being said, all event staff hold the right to remove any addendee from the premisis should you be acting irresponsibly. Our event staff also holds the right to limit alcohol sales if we feel you are becoming too intoxicated. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
